Taken today at ~750 m in SE Bhutan, subtropical broadleaved forest. I bird the area regularly and haven't seen rosefinches finches but once, and never this variety. To my untrained eye, it looks most like a Streaked Rosefinch or a Red-fronted Rosefinch. Unfortunately neither of those occur at lower than 2700 m. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

Common (Scarlet) Rosefinch at first glance, though lack of wing bars may suggest otherwise..
