Gull, central North Carolina (1 Viewer)

It was at Moss Lake in Cleveland County. I visited all 100 counties this year and that was my last stop!

I have a couple more photos, I think there were two of these flying around.

My impression is one of the smaller gulls. Black beak rules out black-headed, head seems too pale for Little, so maybe Bonaparte's or Laughing.

But anything I say about gulls should be taken with a boulder of salt.
