This morning I went to the Groene Jonker again for a couple of hours birding.
I arrived at 7:30 am and immediately saw four Glossy Ibisses in a pool. In the same pool was also a Black-winged Stilt witch chicks. I also got a good look of a Water Rail in the same pool. At another spot I saw some Spotted Crakes. There was also a large group of Eurasian Spoonbill and quite a few different waders and ducks.

The complete list:

Great-crested Grebe, Great Cormorant, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Glossy Ibis, Eurasian Spoonbill, Mute Swan, Grey-lagged Goose, Common Shelduck, Egyptian Goose, Mallard, Gadwall, Northern Shoveler, Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal, Tufted Duck, Marsh Harrier, Common Pheasant, Water Rail, Spotted Crake, Moorhen, Common Coot, Black-winged Stilt, Ringed Plover, Northern Lapwing, Wood Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper, Common Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Common Snipe, Ruff, Black-headed Gull, Common Tern, Wood Pigeon, Barn Swallow, White Wagtail, Reed Warbler, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Common Starling, Tree Sparrow, Goldfinch, Reed Bunting.
