Adobe have just announced 'release candidates' for ACR 5.6, Lightroom 2.6 and DNG converter 5.6 - with 7D support.

Am I right in thinking that this will only function with CS4 and maybe Lightroom 3 next year (it is working on the Free Beta edition for me at the moment)?

The link provided by Frank leads to an updated version of lightroom 2 (2.6) which has a 7D Raw converter. When it is judged stable, I understand it will be rolled out to users of LR2.

Can't help with Photoshop versions less than CS4.

I downloaded ACR 5.6 release candidate this morning for use with CS4 (just in case I get the 7D ) - all works no problem.
