Thanks for the comments so far guys. The broad wings and posture when resting made me cross of Common at the time. The broader and more angled forewings gives me a Dingy feeling rather than Buff, and when comparing it with a Buff that I also caught, it was ever so slightly larger.
Anymore views on the Grey/Pine Carpet?
