I was going through paper alerts today and came across this paper that looks at one of the subspecies of Grasshopper Sparrow. I thought it might be useful to post here, as they say that this will inform any future taxonomic work or field ID of subspecies on wintering grounds (at least, they say this in the abstract; I haven't read the paper).
