Which model Nikon 7x50 do I have? (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone, I purchased a superb pair of Nikon 7x50 binoculars from ebay and would like to know which model Ii have and a possible year of manufacture. I have two photographs which I can send to anyone, their description follows: they are porro prism type, the top & bottom prism covers have no visible screws, on left prism plate it says: "Nikon" with a red line under, below that 7x50 7.2 degrees. On the bottom cover of the central hinge pin it says "Nikon No 501807 Japan. The hinge connecting the two bodies are two separet hinges on the bottom plane but on the top plane a web connects them together. The central focusing barrel is set between the two hinges. The lenses have a light blueish coating and they have Bak 4 prisms. The view is superb, very clear with only slight softening at the very edges, has to be looked hard for, in low light they are superb as good as a pair of Zeiss 7x50's I have. Any thoughts , thanks Will.

Why don't you upload your photos? When you write your post, click on the button marked 'Manage Attachments' under 'Additional Options'. I think the photos have to be 800x800 or less.

Michael.
