Leupold 8x32 Gold Ring HD Eyepiece Ocular Design (1 Viewer)

I recently sold a pair of 10x32 Gold Ring HD to Andy & I mentioned how I thought the eyepiece design on the 8x32 HD Gold Ring in comparison were two different animals due to their huge eye oculars(almost 2x the size), much larger than 10 x32's. Giving the 8x32 HD Gold Ring very comfortable eye relief with a noticeable lager field of view. I also thought the 8x32's were sharper in comparison. The thoughts of any others who have owned or compared the two would be interesting ........ gwen

gwen,

Seems not too many people owning both 8x & 10x GR HD. Bigger ocular lens do not really means better, according to my bins using habit. More comfortable ? Might be. The 10x32 GR HD are sharp enough. Quite close to top glasses with same spec. Good news that the 8x32 are even sharper. How they compare with the Kowa 8x33 optically ?
