Digiscoping with DSLR - Settings (1 Viewer)

Having just got hold of a secondhand Swarovski TLS APO at a good price, I'm about to embark on the, no doubt, frustrating route to digiscoping until such time as I have saved enough to get a decent prime telephoto lens.

I'd be grateful for the top tips from those of you who have already gone down the digiscoping route - in particular which camera settings you have found most useful ?

For info, I'm pairing a Nikon D500 with a Swaro 95 ATX - until I can afford a Nikkor 300 F2.8 and a matched Nikkor converter.

Thanks in anticipation.
