This is NOT the same bird as in my previous thread, posted earlier today.

This rufous/Allen's photo was taken in Tucson, AZ, a few years ago. I thought at the time that it's a rufous --agree/disagree?

Hadn't seen your two additional pics in your 1st, when I submitted.

-Range, as ABA doc notes, Allen's would be seen in Az. during migration.
-R2 tail feathers. that notch being diagnostic on both genders, exclusive of juveniles.
-Sibley (Guide to Birds-1st edition) & ABA doc both note that 5% adult male Rufous have green backs, that do not extend to tail. Additionally, ABA doc notes that 'many' Rufous adult males have 1 or 2 green feathers on the back. IMO, would think there's a bit more latitude than 1 or 2. Looking at your other pics, green on back does not extend to tail.
