New Year New Local Patch (1 Viewer)

On New Year's Day I discovered that I have access to a nice birding area only a quarter mile from our house. There's a patch of rough woodland and a natural pond along the local creek; the land also gives access to an artificial pond and a golf course. My first couple of hours there were fairly productive (see list below). It's great to have a decent birding patch so lose to home.
