Hey guys,
can you tell me why on bright spring days with blue skies my pics have grainy dark backgrounds?
It's not even blue !

ISO 100, 20 mag, 65mm HD scope and not using digital zoom ; Canon powershot.
It doesnt happen when I'm abroad- seems to be a british phenomenon.
