Hi

Can anyone put a name (species, genus or family) to the attached image of a snail seen yesterday in London on some plants bought recently from a nursery

Thanks

Martin

It's possibly ( probably ) Succinea putris but it might be worthwhile nipping it into the Natural History Museum as it comes from a group that really needs dissection for a positive ID. A lot of UK 'firsts' have come from imported plants etc.

Thanks Chris

Looks like a good possibility.

As it happens, that's where I work (but not on snails)!!
