I have forwarded this as there is a greater audience here, and a better chance of positive response. Hope you don't mind Dawn.

"I've had a call from the BBC today and they are looking for a dead
adult Blue Tit or Great Tit in order to do some time lapse
photography looking at a decaying bird.

Should you find a dead adult Blue Tit or Great Tit over the next
couple of weeks (they could do with one sooner rather than later)
please make a note of when and where you found it and how you think
it died and then contact:

I guess finding one that has flown into a window or taken by a cat is
the mostly likely source. Worth a try asking!
