Snail Identification Again - North Somerset (1 Viewer)

Paul Chapman

Well-known member
Two different species of snail.

The first species is in the first two photos and was approximately 13mm wide.

There were three examples of the second species. Two were approximately 5mm wide and one was approximately 7mm wide so I presume the latter is the fully grown size. The photos show both the larger - side on - and one of the smaller ones - head on. They were from Weston-in-Gordano in North Somerset in an area of farmland/grassland with some damper ditches.

Are either identifiable?

All the best

Paul
