UK/ Northern Ireland Pectoral or curlew sand?

I thought the attached photo 1 was a pectoral sand. An expert said it was a curlew sand. Now I have been told it is a pectoral sand. Does anyone else out there have an opinion? Photo 2 is a curlew sand but they do look different and the expert said they were both curlew sand in different plumages.

Derek, anyone who tells you they are an expert more than likely isn't one. As all have said, the first bird is indeed a juv Pec Sand.

Nice one, Derek...I saw my first Pec Sands two weeks ago in Tacumshin, and your photo 1 is definitely the same....which goes to show, you´re the expert; don´t listen to someone else when you´re sure of yourself!:t:
