Hi guys,

is this a common buzzard (Buteo buteo) or long-legged buzzard (Buteo rufinus)?

Bulgaria, 16 May 2015

Thank you,
Petar

Thank you for the help! By the way, is there any chance that it is a honey buzzard?

No, that species can be ruled out completely. Different markings, proportions and head shape plus the fact that birds with moulting remiges aren't normally seen in Europe, particularly in spring.
