Kowa after-sales turn corner? (1 Viewer)

I picked up the dreaded 'specks' in the 25-60 eyepiece (attached to an 883). It was well within guarantee, and decided that - as the piece alone costs over £600 - i would get it sorted.
It went back to CleySpy in Norfolk (who were good enough to loan me an eyepiece for the duration) who returned it to Kowa for cleaning.
Inside 3 weeks, it was back in my 'scope, with Andrew at CleySpy having checked it at all zoom ranges to ensure it was clean.
So, this is a thumbs-up to a great retailer and to Kowa, whose reputation in this regard previously has been ambivalent....

I've heard the specks (which really shouldn't have occurred in the first place) may be residue from an anodising process.
Anyway, thanks to all for the help in sorting this out so quickly!:t:
