Danube Delta and the Last Frontier May 2014 (1 Viewer)

Hi

I returned to the Danube Delta in May for a week long photography trip for birds and European Golden Jackal. We were located at Mila 23 and at a place near Periprava on the Ukraine border known as Ultima Frontiera 'the Last Frontier'. We had an amazing week and I have only just finished going through the photographs!. I have written a detailed daily account on my blog that would take forever to transfer on to here and so have provided the links below. This also includes the occasional short video clip to give you a flavour of the Danube Delta. The species listed against each day are the ones we concentrated on photographing.

Days 1 and 2 : Caspian Gull, Dalmatain and White Pelicans, Common Tern, Great crested and Red-necked Grebes and Squacco Heron

Day 3 morning: Squacco Heron, Common Tern, Purple Heron and Red-necked Grebe
