:-C as much as i am familiar with whitethroats, i have a feeling that this one is the common one? am i right or wrong :-C

From the pics I would say Lesser Whitethroat.

Def not a Whitethroat with that tail! Menetries' springs to mind

loool thanks all, yes agree 100% with Menetries' where was my head, i have been seeing one since beginning of Septmber and the under tail is defiantly another clue. i had a couple that wintered in my locality last year, i hope this one also do the same.
