Please help to confirm id of these birds. I believe them to be a Brown Shrike (birdID.jpg) and a Ferruginous Flycatcher (birdID-2.jpg). Photos taken in Vientiane, Laos on March 8, 2017 near a manmade lake with prairie surrounding just outside the city.

Agree with brown shrike, but the right hand bird is a stonechat. I assume it's Stejneger's that occurs in Laos, but i'm not 100% sure.
