and Stoliczka's bushchat?


The Latter has not been recorded in Pakistan for over half a century?

Think that's just a pale Siberian Stonechat? Too orangey below for Stoliczka's?

the eagle Great Spotted I presume and not Lesser?

despite the light looking iris it is indeed a GSE (long legs, round nostril, one crescent, upper primaries only shafts white), strange and interesting

I've never seen pictures of LSE_x_GSE-hybrids but I know they exist. Could this bird be one?

Hybrids are very common where both meet, see here

But birds wintering in Pakistan are coming from VERY far away from any LSE territory

What about this Buzzard - could it be identified as either Long tailed or a dark Steppe Buzzard or possibly unidentifiable?

The buzzard is a dark morph Longlegged.
The eagle seems to have a well pronounced yellow eyering? so it's not the iris.

I agree on Long-legged but disagree on yellow eyering as the eye would be much to small
