Zeiss Announces Conquest Gavia 85 Spotting Scope (1 Viewer)

We learned yesterday that Zeiss has announced the Conquest Gavia 85 spotting scope. The Gavia 85 will sell for $1999.99 in the US. The Gavia 85 has a 30-60x zoom eyepiece, close focuses at 10.8' and the mount foot is Manfrotto 200 PL compatible. The Gavia 85 has a magnesium alloy body and weighs 60 oz. with the eyepiece. First shipments are expected around the end of August. Digiscoping adapters for both cameras and smart phones and an astro adapter will be available in November.
