Handmade cable release adapter (1 Viewer)

Hi and Welcome to Birdforum, from all of us Mods and Staff here!

There must be a few other Members that have done this sort of thing.

Good link.

Cheers,

Andy.

This is the one that I've been making for the Kyocera 400 (or the Contax 300).
Only £5 for Bird Forum members - another shamless plug ;)

Mark

Nice Mark!
Is it made of some kind of velcro and rubberband?
A simple device is often the best.
The hard thing is to figure it out.

I'm waiting for more pics and descriptions ...

Finaly I made my own cable release Adapter.
I just bought a aluminium "stick" and bend it three times.
Then i drilled two hole, glued a nut on the top and placed a screw on the bottom.
Quite easy to adjust in detail when it's in place.

Faced with the delema of creating a cable release for my Canon A80, I wondered if it is possible or affordable to drill and tap for the treaded conection of standard cable release. If so, a source of supply?
