Obtained one of these on the used market - for a "steal".

This is my first porro in years. Any comments on how they perform? Some have said that after the discontinuance of the Nikon SE 12x50 they are the only similar ones that come close.
 
You got a steal indeed. Congratulations!
I used the Docter 12x50BGA, which afaik is the Dodecarem under the Zeiss successor label.
It was a superb binocular, razor sharp and very comfortable in hand. When I had to sell it, the buyer wrote back that it was by far the best glass he had ever received.
