Hi all,
I really want to do a Kenyan Safari. Aswell as birds, cheetahs and other animals. Of course Im on a budget...
Any suggestions of good tour companys that do the whole lot i.e. book flights, accomadation or camping etc.

So many out their its hard to pick one. Of course Naturetrek would be great but little to expensive for me at the mo.
Cheers for any info!
Mark

Hey Mark,

Have you had any luck ? I am trying to do the same although I was thinking of organising it without an operator as that reduces the cost even more, let know if you get any good options.

Neil

p.s nice images on your website.

You can easily contact small safari operators in Kenya and get them to design a trip to suit what you want. Some specialise in birding - try Joseph Mwangi (I can recommend him) and Ben Mugambi.

Hey Mark,
Thank you for your kind safari company in Kenya to use. I do operate a small Birding and Wildlife safari with much emphasis on Birds safari and I see Steve Lister having recommend you to me. My names are Joseph Mwangi and you could visit my website at http://www.natureswonderlandsafaris.com can you can send your inquiry and shall be able to advise you further based on time of the year, number of days you wish to do the tour as well how many of you in the group and not to mention the type of the accommodation you like.

Looking forward to hear from you
regards
Joseph

Have a look at this forum:

Lots of good tips on what to look for in a good safari operator. Due to price, both my safaris have been with tour operators, the first was a safari and beach package deal in Kenya with Somak and the second was in Botswana + vic falls with Explore. Both were absolutely amazing experiences!

Please pardon the poor photos, I didn't have my panny back then!

Anyway, I'm sure you'll have a fab time!
