I don't have the money
A word of advice do not leave your DSLR unattended with the lens cap off (although I don't think any of you would be as stupid as me.

Luckily I can easily repair it by buying a replacement

the culprit? an inquisitive magpie!

(the fingerprints are from me practising removing and putting it back in before the new one comes which id be wearing gloves to do it with)

Looks a bit serious that - sorry TBF.
 
A few years ago I was wandering round Crickhowell with my wee camera hanging round my neck. We were crossing the bridge and I stumbled... the camera swung towards the wall and the stones scratched the lens... ooops ...

It's OK as long as I remember to zoom in a bit ;)
