Eastern Turkey May 2013 Trip Report (1 Viewer)

For any birders contemplating a trip to Eastern Turkey in 2014 or in the future I have uploaded to cloudbirders.com a 19 page PDF file containing details of an independent trip in May 2013. I hope the info provided (travelling, toll roads, communication and sites) will help as previous trip reports helped me to plan our route. Birding in Turkey lives up to its expectations - especially the Caspian Snowcock excursion at Safak pension.

A fantastic report with superb information.

Sad to see there were only a pair of Blue-cheeked bee-eaters at Estagfirullah (5 reported a few bays before). Seems like the colony there is on the decline!
