Binoculars for observing raptors - help needed (1 Viewer)

Im looking for a pair of good, sturdy binos for birdwatching, specifically raptors on passage in mountainous areas. I need something that is lightweight, rainproof, shockproof, shows well in low light conditions, and has good definition at long distances. Furthermore, I also need something that is reasonably priced.

I previously used a pair of Ziess 10x50 glasses, but unfortunately they were stolen.

in the recent past I have tried 7x50 glasses and 8x40 glasses, but they dont work as well the 10x50 glasses did. I need something that has at least 10x magnification, a wide field of view (6 degrees or more) and can gather adequate light around dusk and dawn.

My budget is about USD 200.00

Any and all input would be welcome.

Regards,

Salman Ali

Hello,
While these will not match your former Zeiss ones, considering your desired price level, perhaps:

Nikon Action 10x50 EX Extreme ATB Binocular ?

Available in U.S. for under $200.

The Bushnell Legend 10 x 50 Porro meets all of your criteria if a FOV of 340' is satisfactory.
It costs about $150.00 US funds.

I was looking for some 10x40 porros for a while, and did find some models, but nothing fantastic. The Nikons will be fairly sharp, a bit heavy.
