Thanks to Dave Mills and Saul Bocian for the photos for these 2. My owl is sort of merging with his surroundings which I suppose is okay in the wild ;) . The hawk is more satisfying for me although i had to use acrylic paint to show the tips of his wing feathers - did I mention I hate doing detail?

Sue,
Love your work. I have to say, my favorites are the bright abstract acrylics, your landscapes and your architecture.
I have a plan to get back into watercolors, my own work as a potter, this might sound weird, is leaning towards that loose expression of life and nature that I crave, and can only find in watercolor. Actually, I am merging the two, but I still love the watercolor.
Wonderful, fresh work. The more I think about it, I think my favorites are your landscapes, with the exception of the birds of course.

Best
Elizabeth
