Has anyone any experience, using the American model phototrap? And also is there an equivalent on the Market over here. I tried to get some photos of bats in flight in my garden the other night with dismal results, but lots of fun and frustration to boot, any ideas or constructive thoughts please, kind regards. Mike

Hi Mike - i am not familiar with the unit you mention but I do know the Wildlife Watching Supplies unit:

http://www.wildlifewatchingsupplies.co.uk/infrared.htm

which a friend of mine has and has obtained some incredible Barn Owl shots from a disused barn adjacent to his property and which was simple to set up and use.

I cannot see any reason why it should not work for bats.
