Hello:

My wife and I took the attached pictures at Elkhorn Slough and Moss Landing the other day (Dec. 23,2010). Could someone help us identify them?

Scott Hi,

1st image looks like a Say's Phoebe....and the 2nd a Grebe..Least?

Try Eared (or as Ken (should) know's it) Black-necked for the grebe!

Say's Phoebe and Eared Grebe.
