Another warblerish LBJ from Rainham Marshes that I thought at the time might be a female stonechat but now I'm not so sure and my books don't really give much of a back view.

heres a little bird of advice. When looking at small passerines remember that there alot other species aswell as warblers. You can quite often put them into a family by looking at what they are doing, chats and pipits will quite quite often site on top of things (but pipits also spend alot of time on the ground.) Warblers will rarely sit out in the open except for a few species such as Dartford Warbler but even those will spend alot of time skulking. Also, this time of year you are limited to just a handful of warbler species, these being Chiffchaff, blackcap and in the right habitat Cetti's and Dartford. So keep and open mind when looking at something you don't recognise.
