I think ive just about talked my wife into letting me
spend about a grand on a new pair of bino's...
My Pal, who i go walking with has a pair of Swarovski 10 x 42
And i really like these...but another pal has some Swarovski 8.5 x 42EL and
i think i like these better...
I have a couple of other hobby's which take up a lot of my time...so i dont really go out for specific birds as such...we just go for a "mooch" around really and take the bino's with us...
Im keen to get the view of those who are more experienced with Bino's than i am...a grands a lot of money to me...so it would be nice if i didnt get my leg lifted...
On another post im sure im sure i read that in 2010 there will be some new EL's coming out..? should i wait..? will the price of the older model drop...?

Thanks in advance for your advice..
