A good days birding today in 2 one hour sessions.

Firstly I went to Barton at lunchtime and caught up with the Great Grey Shrike that has been around recently. Had views down to 20m.B :):t:

Secondly I visited a reed bed roost which is only 3 miles away from Cambridge City Centre. In a hour I managed to see 3 Hen Harriers, 2 Marsh Harriers, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Woodcock and 2 Snipe and hear Cetti's Warbler and Water Rail.:-O

Birding is good!
