My Olympus LS-12 has a low cut filter which minimises sound less than 1kHz. Do any birds call/sing at less than 1kHz? By turning on the low cut filter, will I fail to record any bird calls/songs?

yes e.g. bittern and grey grey olws in the neck of my woods to mention a few.
