Hi Everyone,

I'm a novice when it comes to anything with feathers, much more used to hairy insects. However, I'm hoping to learn lots and, with a bit of luck, I'll be able to use the collective wisdom to shoot and share some nice photos with you all.

All the best,

Andy

Hi there Andy and on behalf of the entire staff here at BirdForum, a warm welcome to you :t:

Thanks,

I wasn't sure where to post this so forgive me if it's the wrong place but there's a problem with a photo I uploaded earlier:

http://www.birdforum.net/pp_gallery/showphoto.php/photo/64835/sort/1/cat/500

It seems to have had its size reduced and says to click on it to view the larger size, except when I do it shows the same size again. In the data for the picture is shows two files, both the same size in KB.

Also, I'm a little unsure as to why the size was reduced on this one but not on another I uploaded when they were both the same size to start with??

Thanks,

Andy

Can't answer your question as far as the two photo difference but size wise, you can not upload anything larger than 800 x 800 and 200 kbs in size. You are well within the kb size so I don't know what happened there px.

Hi Andy

A belated warm welcome to Birdforum. You will know me as John on another forum we are both on.

I hope you enjoy your time on here and as you will see the gallery is fantastic. Your brilliant photos will be a good addition to it.
