A couple of interesting items were on display at this event at Brandon Marsh last weekend (not just the aircraft from the Coventry airshow).
Swarovski digiscoping adapter (see image). Only works on ATS eyepieces and does cost £100 or so. Looks slick and well made, a two peice device with a fairly rapid attachment of camera to e.p.
Focus Optics of Coventry were proudly showing their prototype adapter, this was a more typical tube type design (not dissimilar to the L.C.E adapter). Incorperating 3 screws to lock on to the e.p. barrel, though maybe a single screw could suffice if it's a snug fit onto the e.p. They were showing a version for the Leica e.p's. Cost is £80'ish
Also had a look through EagleEyeUK's 12x digiscoping eyepiece... amazing eye-relief and a quality image. Looks ideal for large flocks of birds amongst other uses.
Carlo also assured me that a replacement dual force pro battery pack was on it's way in the near future
