This photo was taken last August around the Seattle area.
Could this be a Lucifer? Thanks for your help.

Sirijay, I'm not good with female hummingbirds but know it is not a Lucifer.
If it was the bill would be curved where this one is fairly straight. The white area behind the eye is alson not as prominent in the Lucifer as it is here. If you do a search through the gallery you'll see a number of Lucifer photos to compare to.
 
Thank you for the compliment. You know you might want to post in the hummingird forum. Some of those experts don't look at this one.
