I'm new to this so I need some help. I shot this photo tonight at pretty much dark and didn't think to turn on my flash. I'm just completely guessing on what kind this could be. If you cant tell by the photo I understand,

Is this a: Female Ruby-throated Hummingbird

or a: Female Blue-throated Hummingbird

or what do you think?

I live in Grand Prairie, Texas this was taken at 7:45PM-8:00PM on 9/10/13

Hi B_K,
Looks like a lady Ruby-Throated. A lot of lighter tones and contrast is shown around the chin, then reaching around to the back of the neck. Blue is pretty much a darker monotone in that area. Primary projection at the tail looks just right for a Ruby, on a Blue, the primaries reach almost to the tail tip.
