20-60x zoom eyepiece for Kowa TSN-82sv? (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I am contemplating to purchase a zoom eyepiece (20-60x) for my Kowa TSN-82sv.

I am curious if this scope will perform well with a zoom eyepiece with high magnification?

Currently I have the 25x LER eyepiece.

Hi,

considering that the 82SV has a doublet with normal glass (no ED or fluorite lens) and is a rather fast instrument at f5.5, I would expect it to work well up to 40x or so and degrade past that due to axial chromatic aberration.
At least that's what I saw when trying a quite similar TSN-1 with a zoom which with the fluorite objective of the TSN-3 is sharp up to the top.
