Cardinal (1 Viewer)

Saw this Cardinal flying around then noticed that is had a mate and was nesting in a bush in my yard. Took a few days to get close enough for a picture but finally got one. Not great but best I could get. I was drawn to it because it has no crown but is black headed. I researched a bit and found a few reasons this could have happened including molting during mating season, mites etc..
