A report concludes that curlews and cuckoos are under a threat from climate change in England; golden plovers and lapwings are also at risk from rising temperatures. The study looked at the impact on over 3,000 species.

Species are well able to mover around in response to rapid climate change. Just like the rapid warming at the end of the last ice-age. Habitat is still the key and unfortunately much upland Curlew habitat is under threat from wind farms which in themselves do little to reduce CO2 emmisions but a lot of harm to peatlands etc.
