This Brambling was present from 11/19-11/23 at Bear Creek Lake Park, Jefferson County, Colorado. MEGA-rarity!

So interesting to see it keeping company with house finches!
When some of these stray birds appear somewhere unusual they do often seem to select some species to mingle with and often that species accepts them rather than rejecting them. Is there any reason why this "acceptance" happens?
