For every "money shot" in bird photography, there are at least a dozen totally *****y pics, and I don't care how good you are!! That's right folks, an entire quiz made of the best of my worst photos in birding!!! How good are you really at bird ID? The first batch.
EDIT: P.S. Seeing as how I drive extensively across this continent, but have never been overseas, all pics are from US/Canada.

Number three looks more like a Greater Roadrunner to me. I'll go with Common Raven for five.

California Quail, Northern Mockingbird, then Virginia Rail and Blackburnian Warbler (???) and then Hooded Merganser and American Wigeon.

I'll pass on the Sparrow, and the... the thing, whatever. Something Buntingy about the next one, McCown's Longspur? I dunno. Worn Franklin's for the Gull?
