Hello & can you help indentify

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to birding and am hoping to pick up some advice and knowledge by visiting the forum as often as I can. My partner has a reasonable camera and he also shares my enthusiasm for birds. He took this photo in Southern Spain and we have tried lots of sites to try and identify it. Because such a lot of primary and tail feathers are missing and the photo not being as sharp as it could be we need help. Prior to taking this photo we had been on the hunt for a Scottish ringed Osprey named "Beatrice" on the Guadiaro River. We didn't find Beatrice but we found lots of griffon vultures!!

Hi Maxwell and a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators.

I moved your post to the ID forum - I'm sure someone will be along soon to help you out.

Hi MC no it isn't a Perthshire bird. I digiscoped this one many years ago on the road to the Findhorn Valley in Inverness-shire.
