Mandarin on Spey. (1 Viewer)

Seen this afternoon while watching our local patch ,on the river Spey,a male Mandarin duck, could hardly believe our eyes. It was chasing one of the local mallards [female] ????.

Tickable or not - anything that spends too much time trying to make hybrids has probably not had a very natural upbringing. But it could be out of desparation, unable to find a female Mandarin Duck.
