I think the first photo shows a young Purple Finch molting into adult male plumage. The next three are Brown-headed Cowbirds. The last is a young Chipping Sparrow.
 
#1 does not look like a Purple Finch to me. Young (and females) show pretty clear striping on the head that I do not see here. Also a bit unusual to see one in and around Toronto at this time of year.

If I were to guess, I would say young Indigo Bunting.
 
Hopefully the OP won't mind that I worked with the first image by lightening it a bit and enlarging. I'm not certain of Purple Finch either. Ditto on Cowbird and Chipping Sparrow for the others.
