Geese (1 Viewer)

I woke up this morning to the sound of geese and when I went outside I saw about 1000 Canada Geese in the field next to mine. More and more flew in while I was watching untill I estimated around 3000. I brought out my scope and checked over all that I could see looking for anything unusual but was only able to turn up 12 A. Black Ducks mixed in. I couldn't see the whole flock on the ground because a line trees blocks my view of at least half of the field. After a while a good portion ot the birds lifted off and I could see them putting down in another field further down the road. If I look out of the living room window I can still see about 500 geese.
I imagin that these geese are the same ones that I could hear last evening back on the tidal river that forms our back boundary.
At least my neighbour shouldn't have to spread manure on the field this year. ;)
