Is the pipit a meadow pipit. Not the clearest of shots and I thought the white around the eye may be a tree pipit but the breast colouring and style of the spots makes me think meadow. The gull I am guessing a common gull as the legs are quite pale and I think the black headed gull has redder legs.

i have seen 1000s of each ;) obviously different are calls and the character of their flights. if you want to compare plumages there are plenty of pics on the net and you can study the differences with your bird guide (preferably the 'collins'). breeding birds with a spot on the middle of their breast like yours (concentration of black spots) usually are meadow pipits.
